In August, we spent a long weekend along the North Shore. We enjoyed golfing, hiking, swimming, and a trip into
another country.....Canada. The sights and sounds of the northwoods were spectacular. They even checked Ang's
passport as we entered Canada, that made her weekend.
Ang took her first swings on the golf course. She's really good around the greens, must be all that time mini-golfing.
She understands a little more why I enjoy golf when you have the opportunity to play beautiful courses.
Another highlight was our canoeing trip down the Poplar river. Last time we saw mama moose, but none this time.
I brought the fishing rod but spent too much time paddling and so we had to eat pizza for dinner. The big waterfall
below is the highest waterfall in MN. Which is wierd, because it's in Canada. Otherwise known as international
waters.
